This fun “Globeman” project challenges students to research and showcase each of the Five Themes of Geography for a major world city! The guided lesson begins with a quick, 5 themes review activity, then leads the class through a detailed explanation of the project. They research the city's Location, Place, Region, Movement, and Human-Environment Interactions. Then, they design “Globeman” presentations or posters with images and descriptions explaining its geography. The activity can be adapted to any location. A rubric sets clear expectations for your students and makes grading easy! My students always LOVE creating “GlobeMan”!
